Groundwater and Salinity
The factors that control water movement and dryland salinity in the weathered material (regolith) between bedrock and the surface are not uniform.
Data from below the surface shows salt distribution, features affecting groundwater movement and factors bringing groundwater to the surface.

What we see on the surface is a fraction of the information needed to cost effectively manage and pass the land on in better condition to the next generation.
